We have yet to get his first haircut. I just havent been able to work up the courage to take him and cut off his curls. I love them. His hair is out of control right now. Its really growing and starting to look shaggy. Not to mention, more blonde :) which I am definately not mad about. The child doesnt look like me at all, so for hiim to start getting lighter hair makes me smile.
His sleeping patterns have been the same since he was little. He goes down between 7-9. He sleeps well into the night with some tossing and turning, but nothing to where I have to get up and comfort him. He wakes up for his 6am bottle and goes right back to bed. We are still giving him a bottle of milk at night and a bottle of milk in the morning. He hasnt been on formula or baby food since he turned one and so far we havent had issues. I am so glad he likes milk and is not a picky eater. He's been talking alot. Momma and daddy are get common. Up is beginning to get louder. He loves to yell in the car. I call it music to my ears. He loves it. I also encourage it so I can't be mad when I get a headache later in the day from the soulful tunes he blurts out. It's just too cute. His pacifier isn't going away anytime soon. My aunt cara told me my cousin Sara had one until she was 5. I'm thinking this may be the case for us. He loves his binky.
I've yet to punish Lucas. Danny is very good at discipline with him. I on the other hand suck. I can tell him no but I cannot make him sit or spank. It breaks my heart. He tested me last night. He kept standing up in the bath tub and I had enough. I kept saying no but he kept doing it. Still, I couldn't spank so I just took him out and moved on with our night. I'm afraid he'll be mad at me lol.
I love that Lucas can walk. It makes him look like such a big boy. Crazy to think how just a few short months ago, he was only just learning to crawl. Time sure does go fast!
Lucas always enjoys spending time with his girlfriends. Payton and Hadley :-)
