An opportunity came up for Danny and I and Lucas to take our first vacation. I couldn't say no for the price! Condo on the beach! Yes please. We asked my mom to come along as well. She needed the break just as much as the rest of us. And so, we were off. Friday night we left shortly after Danny got off work at 10:00. We loaded up the car and hit the road by 11:30. Gas stops and restroom breaks. We drove 15 hours to North Reddington Beach, FL. It was so nice. Just shy of Tampa. We had a good time. Seeing Lucas for the first time on the beach was such a good feeling. Danny and I got to experience that as a family and I think we both kinda needed it. We have Lucas at different points in the day so it was awesome to have him all day! I don't think Lucas knew what to do with all the attention :)
We took naps, played in the pool, picked shells for projects, went to the zoo, swam in the pool, went on a 2.5hr cruise for our anniversary, and most importantly spent quality time as a family.
