My heart aches.

The most loving, caring, genuine, honest, man I know sits in a hospital bed tonight, alone. Fighting a battle with pneumonia for an elderly man is a task all in its own. On top of his previous battle with a heart issue.

So I sit here & write...I have to escape the aching in my heart. I miss him. Everyday.

The only thing I could even think about the past few days is wrapping my arms around my Grandpa and telling him how much I love him. He is the kindest man that I have ever known.

If I could take all of the pain in his heart and place it into mine, I would do it in a heartbeat. I am trying so hard to trust in God and pray.

To the man who helped raise me into the woman I am today when my own father walked out, to the man who helped my mom financially support me and get me the things I needed in life, to the man who loved his wife with every inch of his being and taught me to love just the same...you are my hero. I love you.

Prayers for a healthy recovery and many more years<3

Fashion.

I've always been into new fashion but never get brave enough to try new things. Lately, I've been very into prints, sheer, and peplum attire. I don't shop at high end stores. I tend to stick to the wetseal, target, goodwill finds. Ive always been the kinda girl you can give $20 to and ill make it work. Here are some of my newest "trendy" items :)

NOTE: all items were $4. Not kidding.

Just. Too. Cute!

Look how cute he is. Seriously.

Age, 19months.

Halloween. For adults.

We attended 2 parties this year for Halloween. I love this time of year. I mean, you get to dress up in costumes and pretend to be something you're not for a few nights out of the year. How fun is that! To me, lots. I enjoy finding costumes and this year, making one. Thanks to Pinterest.

Our first party was a get together our friend Matt and his family attend. We also got invited go go. It was neat, I enjoyed the evening. Danny and I went as a Flapper & Gangster. It was alot of fun and I think we looked good :)

This past weekend we went to the 2nd annual Halloween party at Chad & Beccas. Becca and I were official teammies in beer pong. We were 5-1 on the evening. We won 4 straight before losing. It was possibly the most fun Ive had playing that silly game.
We had a contest with the guys to see who could come up with the best idea. At the beginning it was 4vs4. Then it became 4vs3. The guys took this contest to a whole different level. The girls went for funny yet cute. The guys went for funny and provocative. Lol. The pictures leave no words. Wait, yes. WOW would be the best one. See below.

Fall<3

One of my favorite times of the year starts around August. The weather is changing and football season arrives. It's also the last few weeks I have with Danny before he works 40 hour weeks and coaches his freshman basketball team. So basically I see Danny after 10pm at night and if I am lucky, all day Sunday.
So when I get the chance to spend time with my little fam, ill take it. I love pumpkin patches. I love the nature of everything about them. I was hoping we could get to a few of them this year and luckily, we will get to experience 2 with Lucas. Today was such a fun day! I can't thank my coworker Jenny enough for letting us come out to her property and pick pumpkins, ride on the quad, and pet the goats. Lucas had so much fun and so did daniel & myself. We also took debi, my mother in law. She picked lots of pumpkins too. Here are some photos of our fun day!

Senior night <3

My sister celebrated her senior night of volleyball this past week. She was unable to play in the game but she was there for her team and supporting as best as she could.

She recently injured her knee. Dislocated her knee cap and has been on crutches with little mobility. She was able to be released from her crutches and immobilizer for senior night. Her first round of physical therapy was today.

I am so proud of her. She has come a long way and I am so proud to call her my little sister. She has made the best out of the situation and dealt with it like a mature teenager. She's such an amazing person and I love watching her grow into a beautiful, smart, caring woman.

Having a sister can be a wonderful experience. An older sister can often show you how to navigate the way through some of the more difficult areas of growing up. If I haven't done much right in this life, I atleast know I did that for her.

Love you KMJ.
